The samples shown in this Gallery are just a few examples of the type of work that we do for our clients. We consider our decorative art, decorative painting and finishing to be traditional and classic. Many of the decorative finishes such as the hand painted Wood Graining and Marbleizing have been done for hundreds of years,  and the gilding or gold leafing, has been done for over a thousand years.

A renewed interest in these decorative painting re-emerged in the mid 1960s and has continued on since then. Unfortunately, most of the traditional hand painted decorative art and finishing techniques got lumped together into the category name of “ Faux Finishing”. 

Many of the painting techniques labeled “Faux”, are now seen as trendy and fashionable ………… We avoid those fashion trends and stick to the “traditional ”, even if we do have to accept the popular “Faux” label. Our approach, techniques and materials are all based on tradition, and meant to last.
